Dr. Eugene Wentzel is a native of southern NJ, growing up in Palmyra. Dr. Wentzel earned a Bachelor’s degree in human biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Science from Logan University in December 1985.
He began his career in early 1986 as an associate doctor in two high-volume chiropractic offices in Burlington County. In 1989, he opened his private practice in Mt. Holly, NJ across from Rancocas Valley High School. In 1992 he purchased the property at 300 High Street in Mt. Holly where he currently practices.
He is a diplomat of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.
As an adjunct to his practice, Dr. Wentzel provides physician advisor reviews, utilization management oversight, peer review reports, and independent medical examinations (IME’s) for various insurance companies.
Outside the office, Dr. Wentzel is an FAA certificated flight instructor and has a passion for aviation. He and his wife love to travel with their personal aircraft and discover new and interesting destinations.
Dr. Wentzel is also president of the Gardinier Environmental Fund. This foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations, to NJ schools and to NJ townships endeavoring projects that are aimed at conserving the Earth's energy resources.
He also has a love of animals and is a member of an organization called, "Pilots and Paws". He volunteers his time, money and airplane to rescue injured or abandoned animals and transports them anywhere they need to go to attain proper medical care or foster homes.
Dr. Wentzel also finds great joy in cooking, remodeling, landscaping and photography…but he ultimately delights in spending time with his family...especially with his new grandchildren.
